Mr. Lunsford has focused his career on helping individuals and their companies manage their legal affairs and business operations in both private practice and as in-house counsel. With significant experience in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, international business, real estate, employment, intellectual property, entertainment, healthcare, education and business litigation, Mr. Lunsford brings a wide array of skills to the Firm.

After graduating from the University of Florida College of Law, Mr. Lunsford began his career at the West Palm Beach, Florida, law firm of Boose Casey Ciklin Lubitz Martens McBane & O’Connell, where he focused his practice on commercial transactions and litigation. After 10 years at the Boose Casey firm Mr. Lunsford transitioned into the healthcare industry, joining a turnaround team at Gambro Healthcare and facilitating the $3B sale of Gambro to Davita, Inc., a Fortune 500 healthcare company. After the sale Mr. Lunsford stayed on at DaVita for 6 years as a Senior Vice President and Group General Counsel. During his 10 years with Gambro and DaVita Mr. Lunsford served in a leadership position helping to build the legal departments and manage the companies’ acquisitions, contracting, litigation, real estate, employment, government affairs and healthcare regulatory matters. In 2010 Mr. Lunsford left the healthcare industry to assume a new role as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel at Digital Domain Media Group, a Los Angeles-based entertainment industry business. After taking the company public in 2011, Mr. Lunsford left to join the firm in 2013.

With his extensive and wide-ranging experience serving businesses and individuals in both private practice and as in-house counsel, Mr. Lunsford essentially has been both the lawyer and the client for many years, allowing him to develop a unique and valuable perspective in his practice that results in very efficient and effective counsel for the Firm’s clients.
